I visited the popular Chinese restaurant "Chinese Hanten Fureika" located in Aso. This restaurant is part of a group that operates several establishments, but Fureika stands out as their flagship location.Having earned the Tabelog 2026 Silver award, it offers a delightful blend of Shanghai and Cantonese cuisine.The interior is quite spacious, and it seems there are private rooms available for larger groups.I dined here for lunch, and the menu features a wide variety of a la carte options as well as several course menus, allowing you to choose based on your mood on the day.I opted for the Shark Fin Soup Course.From the appetizers, everything was delicious, including the dim sum, shark fin soup, and the impressive Peking Duck, which made each dish exciting.The Peking Duck had an abundance of crispy skin and a texture that set it apart from any I had tasted before, making it clear why so many people come here for it.The stir-fried dishes, fried rice, and dessert were all satisfying, and I definitely want to return for dinner.
