I planned to go eat beef tendon curry, but the restaurant was temporarily closed.What a bummer!I was already craving curry, so I searched for another place, thinking it would be impossible to find a spot since it’s a popular restaurant.But to my surprise, there was an opening at 14:20, and it was only 14:00!I casually wandered around until it was time to enter.Lucky me!First, I ordered the classic Roka Plate for JPY 1250, with lamb curry for an extra JPY 100.I mixed the lamb curry with the lu rou fan (braised pork rice).The spices were well-balanced, and mixing them made it even more delicious.I heard the chef trained for 7 years at that famous restaurant in the basement of Tokyo Station.The limited menu items also looked tempting.I’ll have to try them next time.It was a great meal!
