I visited Chinese Hanten Fureika on Sunday night at 7 PM.The interior has an upscale atmosphere, but casual attire is perfectly acceptable.I ordered the B Course dinner for JPY 22,000 on the day of my visit.◯ Assorted appetizers: Chashu, sea urchin, squid, jellyfish, and Chinese vegetables.◯ Stir-fried milk clam with Kujo green onion and ginger.◯ Braised shark fin soup in a pot.◯ Famous Peking duck.◯ Stir-fried Wagyu strip loin with Hong Kong-style savory sauce.◯ Loire white asparagus in a thick broth.◯ Colorful egg white fried rice with shiso and scallops.◯ Dessert: milk pudding.I had the impression that Chinese cuisine is usually served in large portions, but this was just the right amount.The flavors were perfectly balanced—not too strong or too light—with careful cooking and high-quality ingredients, making each dish very delicious.However, the service felt somewhat awkward and careless, which, considering the high price for an average person, overshadowed the quality of the food. What a shame.It was a great meal.
