Surprisingly to my friends, this was my first visit to Sushi Dokoro Yamato. I’ve known about it since it opened and always thought I’d like to go if I had the chance, but the timing never worked out until now, when I was invited to join some regulars for my long-awaited first visit. (Thank you so much!) The amount of appetizers can be adjusted based on how hungry each person is, but both my friend and I tend to eat more than average, so we enjoyed a full serving of both appetizers and sushi. The firmness of the rice, the flavor of the vinegared rice, and the temperature of the toppings were all perfectly to my liking. I also enjoyed the conversations with the chef and other customers, making for a truly happy experience. It was a wonderful meal. Thank you!
