I visited Restaurant Sola in Fukuoka. The spacious atmosphere with a view of the sea allowed for a relaxed enjoyment of French cuisine. We started with Dom Pérignon 2017, and the flow of wines was excellent. The dishes were overall light and beautifully showcased the ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the seafood dishes, which had a nice depth of flavor and clarity. The course structure was well-balanced, with the asparagus and octopus dish, followed by the fish course and main, all maintaining a pleasant lightness until the end.Rather than flashy presentations or overpowering flavors, it felt like a restaurant where you can enjoy the overall ambiance. Coupled with the seaside location, it’s a great choice for anniversaries or dates. The selection of wines was especially impressive, and I ended up drinking a bit too much. The birthday plate and music box presentation were lovely as well! ◎
