I was finally able to visit again after quite a long time. While there are many renowned French restaurants in Nagoya, only a few can be considered long-established, and this is definitely one of them. This time, I enjoyed a variety of classic dishes that I have loved for years, and I was thoroughly satisfied. On this day, I had:- Amuse-Bouche- Gazpacho wrapped in jelly- Salmon cream with anchovy- Masuko- Pâté- BON DABON 24-month aged Percheux and its broth- Sea urchin and lobster consomme jelly with cauliflower sauce- Natural sweetfish from the Wara River in Gifu wrapped in kadaif- Sea bass with summer vegetables- Roasted pigeon from France- Watermelon sorbet with milk ice and rock salt- Lemon mousse made with domestically grown organic lemons- Coffee- Petit foursEvery dish was flawless. The classic "Sea Urchin and Lobster Consomme Jelly" is a must-have whenever I visit this restaurant. I have had similar dishes at other places, but none can compare to the original here. This is something everyone should definitely try.For the main course, I had the roasted pigeon from France, which has just recently become available. It was a triumph of culinary skill, perfectly showcasing the unique flavors and aromas of the pigeon. The dessert was exceptional as well, made with domestic lemons and set with chocolate and mousse. If you're looking for classic, authentic French cuisine, this might just be the best recommendation in Nagoya.I will definitely be back!
