It had been a while since my last visit. The restaurant is located on the second floor of a mixed-use building in a residential area near Hirao Station.During my last visit, the owner mentioned that he was not serving alcohol due to health issues, but it seems he has recovered, as he was drinking quite a bit this time.He appeared to be enjoying himself, drinking wine with regular customers, but there was hardly any conversation with us, the general patrons... we didn’t receive much attention.I suppose that’s just the style of this yakitori restaurant.We started our meal quite late, and by the time we left, it was nearly 1 AM.The owner was lively, drinking wine and chatting with regulars, and only cooking when he had a moment to spare.While it seems to be a comfortable place for regulars, I found it a bit uncomfortable as someone who just wanted to enjoy a meal.The yakitori itself was very delicious, but I don’t think I can adapt to this kind of atmosphere.It was a great meal.
