I suddenly craved delicious curry and found that I could enjoy it at "Hashimoto Ya" even on the same day, so I quickly set out to get a numbered ticket. I arrived around 10 AM and found about 10 people in line. The reception started around 10:30, and by 10:40, I had my ticket. I placed my order and made my payment (cash only) at that time. I ordered a small portion of rice with extra onion pickles. The staff advised me that the extra pickles would be quite a lot and could be added later, but since I love onions, I decided to order them right away. The designated time on my ticket was 12:20.After a bit of shopping, I returned to the restaurant about 10 minutes early and noticed that a table was available, so I went in. My food arrived in about 5 minutes, and I was asked about the recommended way to eat it. I was told to keep the onsen egg intact until the end, then mix it with the remaining rice. So, I started by scooping the curry directly. It was indeed spicy with a complex flavor, showing that a lot of care went into its preparation. I chose a spice level of 2, which wasn't too overwhelming, allowing the spiciness to shine through. There were plenty of pickles, which I enjoyed intermittently to refresh my palate. In the end, I added the leftover rice and pickles to the curry and mixed in the onsen egg. The egg made it quite mild, so personally, I found it tastier to eat it as is, but my companion enjoyed it.The flavor was, of course, delicious, and even though I ordered a small portion of rice, the quantity was more than enough, providing a very satisfying curry experience. Truly a hundred famous restaurants. It was a great meal!
