Since 2017, TACUBO Daikanyama has consistently earned Michelin stars and is known as one of the hardest restaurants to book in Tokyo.I had been wanting to visit this restaurant for a long time, and my impression is simply this: I experienced some of the most delicious dishes of my life! The first dish served was the famous "Mozzarella from Takeshima," and it was absolutely delightful! I have never tasted mozzarella cheese like this before! I was truly moved by it!!The second dish, which is also a must-try, was the "Cappellini with Caviar and Sweet Shrimp." This was, without a doubt, the best cappellini I have ever had in my life! The third dish was the "Ayugai with Sudachi," and it was the first time I realized how delicious ayu (sweetfish) could be! I was genuinely impressed!!Following that, I enjoyed dishes like the "Baked Whelk with Herbs," "Saffron Soup with Nodoguro (Blackthroat Sea Perch)," "Corn Tortellini," and "Wood-Fired Lamb," among others, all of which were exquisite and remarkable. One downside is that the prices are quite high, and I found that the French restaurant "Recte" in Daikanyama offered more impressive experiences at a lower price.Another point is that since TACUBO has expanded to multiple locations in Shirokane and Ginza, I felt there was a shortage of high-quality staff.Nevertheless, despite the steep prices, I believe this is a restaurant worth visiting at least once in a lifetime.
