This is a restaurant I've been curious about for a while due to the long lines. When I happened to pass by in the evening, there were no people waiting, and the open sign was lit! I knew I couldn't miss this opportunity, so I went inside. As I sat down and browsed through the extensive menu, a lovely lady (perhaps the owner’s wife?) came to assist me, saying, "If it's your first time, I recommend the Java curry or, if you like meat, the beef tongue." Without hesitation, I chose the beef tongue!After a short wait, the pickles arrived, followed by the rice, and finally, the beef tongue curry was served.The aroma was absolutely amazing! As I poured the rich curry over the rice, the spices exploded with flavor! No wonder there are lines for this place!!!It was genuinely delicious! The thick curry meant that just a little bit went a long way with the rice. I ended up ordering a second serving of rice (JPY 400).Wow, I left feeling completely full, and the total bill came to JPY 4200. The satisfaction was incredible. I'm so glad it's close to my office! I will definitely return. The couple seemed quite elderly, so I hope they stay healthy for a long time!
