I visited on a weekday evening, the day after the Biwako Fireworks Festival. From the Koto area, you cross the Biwako Ohashi Bridge, take a quick right turn, and after passing through a narrow road, you’ll find the restaurant.I had made a reservation for the August course meal featuring Sukiyaki and Matsutake mushrooms. The menu included appetizers, rich chicken paitan soup, three types of sashimi, grilled chicken wings, and yakitori skewers, followed by the main dish of Omi jidori chicken and Matsutake Sukiyaki, along with Matsutake chicken rice. As initially explained, the portions were quite generous and packed with chicken, making it a delight for chicken lovers. The service was attentive and friendly, embodying the essence of Kansai hospitality, creating a relaxed atmosphere in a calm interior.Every dish was delicious, especially the yakitori, which allowed me to directly savor the exquisite flavor of Omi jidori chicken. Due to the chicken's tender and muscular texture, it was very satisfying, and before I knew it, I was full from enjoying the rich flavors. I ended up taking some of the Sukiyaki and Matsutake chicken rice home.
