Akasaka Kikunoi is the Tokyo branch of Kikunoi, a renowned kaiseki restaurant that has earned three Michelin stars in Kyoto and Osaka. This establishment in Akasaka has also been awarded two Michelin stars.The entrance offers a serene atmosphere, almost like a different world, featuring a sacred altar that adds a sense of solemnity.The ambiance inside the restaurant is exceptional.Every dish is delicious, with highlights including the grilled young sweetfish, and a series of exquisite offerings that are hard to describe in words.The Japanese sake served alongside the dishes was also excellent.
