In June 2026, my friend stood in line early in the morning for a reservation at Tonkatsu Mange, thanks to which I was able to visit in the evening! (Thank you so much!)We arrived at the restaurant at 5 PM and were the first group to be seated for dinner. The menu had an incredible variety, but I had already made my choices:◯ Glass of red wine - JPY 880 ◯ Hirmuro Pork & Special Tenderloin Tonkatsu - JPY 4,970 * I chose white truffle salt ◯ Angel Shrimp Fry (1 piece) - JPY 510 ◯ Rice - JPY 270 Both the Hirmuro Pork & Special Tenderloin Tonkatsu and the shrimp fry were absolutely delicious! The meat was thick and satisfying. Even though the portions were quite generous, I still had some room left and wanted to order more. However, it seemed like everyone else finished their initial orders quickly and left, so it didn’t feel like there was an opportunity to add more to my order. (There were also new customers arriving for the second round.)It was a great meal.Next time I have the chance, I’d like to try the unique tonkatsu options, like the Echire butter or Gorgonzola tonkatsu. I'm really curious about those!
