I had always wanted to visit this restaurant. When I saw on Instagram that they were reopening, my husband was able to take a day off, so we decided to give it a try together. They start distributing numbered tickets at 10:05, so we arrived before 9:00.There was already one group ahead of us, making us the second in line. The weather was bad and rainy, so there were fewer people than I expected. You place your order and pay first, then return to the restaurant five minutes before your reserved time. Both my husband and I ordered the spice level 1 (medium). When we returned five minutes early, the staff welcomed us in.● Chicken Curry Rich Flavor - JPY 1,400 (tax included)First, we opened the lid and enjoyed the wonderful aroma.Next, we sipped the soup.It was deep, rich in umami, and absolutely delicious! The spiciness gradually kicked in afterward. The chicken in the curry was tender, and eating it with the rice made it even more delicious. When paired with the pickled onions and tomatoes, it offered a different flavor experience. The rice seemed to be cooked with chicken fat, spices, and onions, and even on its own, it was flavorful and incredibly tasty. However, it was seasoned just right so as not to overpower the curry. The pickled onions were refreshing, had a nice texture, and served as a palate cleanser when eaten alone, but they were also delicious with the curry. The tomatoes were rich in flavor and also very tasty. Finally, I mixed the remaining rice into the curry with a soft-boiled egg, and it transformed into a creamy dish that was equally delicious.Adding Sichuan peppercorns introduced yet another flavor, making it even more delightful! There were so many ways to enjoy the dish, each one delicious, and I felt like I had found the perfect curry that truly embodies the word "rich."The spiciness doesn’t linger, so I think even those who are sensitive to heat would be fine. The staff were very polite and pleasant, which I believe reflected in the quality of the food.
