I visited to recharge with some delicious food during a busy summer without a break. Since I had work to do, I brought a tote bag with documents, but it was fine to leave it at the table. On a hot day, I enjoyed some Evian and non-alcoholic sparkling water while checking the menu. The amuse-bouche of salmon was substantial and made for an eye-catching start. For the appetizer, I had a plate with turnips, beets, peach, lobster, and avocado. The peach sauce was delightful and paired well with the lobster. It was a refreshing appetizer perfect for summer. Next was the chilled corn potage, served with consomme jelly, corn, and popcorn. The combination of the jelly and soup was exquisite. It had sweetness but also a refreshing clarity, leaving me satisfied. For the main course, I chose Maria Callas. This was a guaranteed hit. The tender meat, truffle, and melting foie gras combined with the sauce and pastry were incredible! I never expected the pastry to be so delicious. I was quite full, so I opted for three types of dessert, but I wonder if it would have been better to enjoy all of them. I had them with coffee. I thoroughly enjoyed my solo lunch. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the interior was lovely. I would love to come back for another meal. Since I had non-alcoholic drinks, those who can enjoy wine would likely have an even better experience.
