Unagi Uomasa @ Yotsugi - Limited Course for One Group per DayWe, Tokyo Horumon, consider unagi (eel) to be a friend of our food-loving group.Let me share my experience with the limited course at Unagi Uomasa @ Yotsugi.Surprisingly, this is my fourth consecutive day of writing about unagi! (laughs)Unagi Uomasa @ YotsugiBefore it became the super popular restaurant it is now, I used to visit often for gatherings. I even brought my family here once.Suddenly craving unagi, I decided to inquire about a reservation, and to my surprise, it was quite available on weekdays.I opted for the Uomasa course, which is limited to one group per day.First, we had the appetizer.Wow, the one on the left is a liver skewer! How many pieces do you get from one eel? It's quite rare, isn't it?Next up was the grilled unagi, but wait... it looks more like a twisty shape!I usually want more of the grilled unagi, but for the first time, I thought, "I don't need any more!" (laughs)We refreshed our palates with uzaku (eel with vinegar) and enjoyed some sake while waiting for the unaju (eel rice box) to arrive.Here it comes!What a stylish unaju box!Now, let’s open it with reverence.Wow!Lately, I've been having "jiyaki" (grilled over charcoal), so I was really looking forward to the steamed unagi in the Kanto style.
