●Number of Visits: 1I visited this restaurant at the invitation of a food friend from Tokyo.Wow, what an amazing place! I've only been to a few yakiniku restaurants in Tokyo, like Stamina-en and Yuji, and I wasn't particularly excited about them, but I'm glad I came here. This place is known for its incredible marbled beef tongue.Make sure to order the salted tongue right away; it’s a must! The medium tongue has a bit less fat, but it’s still about twice as tender and rich as the premium tongue at most other places. The fat is so finely textured that it doesn’t overwhelm you immediately, but you’ll definitely feel it a few hours later! The premium tongue is exceptionally marbled, and the dish is topped with mountain chain tripe. We also had some salad, kimchi, and namul as side dishes.I was in charge of grilling, so I couldn’t take pictures while cooking. The basil tripe is a specialty here, and it was absolutely delicious. The yukhoe (raw beef) was also great. Pouring it over rice made it incredibly tasty.Of course, I ordered the large rice. Real men go for the "large rice" (though at Inumaru, I usually get the small size, haha). For lean meat, they recommend the loin here. I got a bit carried away and ordered the premium loin, which came with thin slices of Matsusaka chateaubriand, Yonezawa ribeye, and Omi beef sirloin. It felt like I was taking a body blow from Naoya Inoue, and my stomach was definitely rumbling, so be careful!A cucumber helped me recover a bit.By the way, I also ordered a serving of premium short rib out of a sense of duty, but it’s basically a fat bomb, so it’s better to skip it.According to a regular (my companion's husband), the loin is the way to go here, so next time I’ll stick to the salted premium tongue and loin, plus the basil tripe, which is a must-try. Oh, and the egg soup was delicious too!For dessert, they asked, "We have pudding, do you want some?" All three ladies and I, Tomoko, chimed in, "Yes, we want it!"The caramel on the pudding had a deep flavor, and the ingredients, especially the eggs, were incredibly delicious.
