After more than 10 years, I revisited Fureika for a lunch course with a friend. We decided to indulge in the luxurious Shark Fin Lunch Course. The restaurant's ambiance remains as calm and inviting as ever, with attentive service that heightens our anticipation.Starting with the appetizers, each dish was exquisite. The second dish, an assorted platter of dim sum, was truly impressive. The presentation was beautiful, with translucent wrappers showcasing the filling inside. The shiny, clear skins were stunning, and both types were incredibly delicious—I almost wanted to order more! The main dish, Shark Fin Soup, was exceptionally refined. It featured three types of ingredients, including the prized white treasure, as noted on the menu.According to the staff, the kitchen is staffed by specialized chefs, including experts in dim sum and shark fin, totaling around 20 to 30 skilled professionals—quite astonishing! The Peking Duck was irresistible, elegantly rolled and easy to handle. I feel there are no other restaurants that serve Peking Duck as delicious as this one. Both the shrimp and vegetable dishes were delightful. The seasoning was sophisticated yet robust, without being overwhelming. By the time I reached the fried rice, I was completely satisfied and full. The caramel dessert was a bit too rich for my taste, but the mooncake was the best I’ve ever had—delicious without being overly sweet. My friend was also thoroughly satisfied, making it a wonderful day.
