I visited this restaurant with some colleagues. The interior has counter seats, table seats, and raised seating, but overall it’s not very spacious.Be aware that everything starts at the same time. They offer both farmed and, if you're lucky, wild eel, but first-time visitors can only try the farmed variety. However, while the wild eel can be exceptional, the farmed eel is generally more delicious, so no need to worry! On this occasion, both types were available. There is only one course available, which starts with skewers of various eel cuts and some simple appetizers. These are enjoyed alongside beer or Japanese sake, creating a wonderfully atmospheric experience! This delightful time lasts about 1.5 hours, and when the white grilled eel is served, it’s finally time for the kabayaki (grilled eel with sauce). The grilling is perfect, the sauce is just right, and it comes with delicious rice and liver soup.Since the portions leading up to this point aren’t too large, you can truly savor the flavors. While it’s not a fancy place, the staff is attentive, and you can enjoy your drinks and food at a leisurely pace.Reservations can be hard to come by, but if you get the chance, I highly recommend visiting! Please note that payment is cash only!
