I visited Shimizu for the second consecutive week, and I truly believe it might be the best Japanese restaurant in Japan right now.On this day, they served hamo (pike eel) in a handmade ice bowl, and after finishing the dish, we could pour Japanese sake or champagne into the bowl, which was a wonderfully summery touch.Unfortunately, photography of the beautiful dishes is not allowed.
