my new neighbor? a grungy, hip-hopy, no-frills slice joint that serves 4 NY-style options: marg, salami, triple cheese, and garlic mushroom - all for about $8 each. I literally could not have asked for a better spot to move in next door @badhabitsprovision. the cherry on top? they serve their slices on paper plates, just like they do in NY 🤎🗽
they’ve got a wood-fired oven, and the crust has a nice char to it. some days it’s a lil more crispy than foldable, but I’m good with it either way. they have a few sides on the menu too - fried chicken (it’s amazing, you have to order it) poutine (a bit too OTT for me, would skip), and meatballs (haven’t had em yet but the hubby said they’re bomb). they sometimes have a vegan slice option too - I tried the vegan kale & mushroom… and wow I actually really enjoyed it!
there’s minimal seating indoors but they’ve got a lil curbside outdoor space going on which gets pretty poppin. would say this is the perfect place to stop at on your way home to continue the party (it’s open until midnight & they serve booze too) or an afternoon snack if you’re in the hood like me 😉
