I had been wanting to visit this unagi restaurant in Urawa for a long time, and I finally found the right timing to go. The restaurant closes once they run out of unagi, so it's best to go right after they open.On this day, I had the Miyazaki-style Wasyou Unagi (JPY 6,600). They didn’t have grilled liver, so I ordered the liver soup instead (JPY 330).The liver soup was quite unique as it was a soy sauce-based broth, which paired wonderfully with both the liver and the unagi donburi, making it very delicious!As for the unagi, instead of the usual sweet kabayaki, it had a spicier flavor typical of the Kanto region, which was refreshing and incredibly tasty.The strong flavor kept it interesting throughout the meal. This is definitely not something to be missed! Well, the price is on the higher side, but it’s worth it!I would love to visit again if I get the chance.
