I’m about to enjoy my first French meal in Hakodate. I’m already tired of squid sashimi and sea urchin rice bowls, but I’ll still eat them! When I arrived at the restaurant, I was amazed by how stylish the building is. The owner has great taste. From the windows, you can overlook Nijukkenzaka, which is just fantastic. We started with a wine pairing that included champagne. The amuse-bouche was rich in flavor, giving an overall classic taste with a touch of nouvelle cuisine in its presentation. I absolutely love this kind of seasoning. They also serve bread with butter and rillettes, which is delicious too.
