Is this Munich’s best steak? 🥩

Welcome back to Munich Munchies, your guide to the best spots in the city. Tonight we’re at @mastava_ a steak and seafood spot that had me at Surf & Turf and great wine. That’s three of life’s greatest pleasures. What could go wrong?

Started with oysters 🦪 on ice because it’s that kind of night and I needed an aphrodisiac. 10/10, pure, high-quality, no-nonsense. If they came on rocks, I would’ve walked out 😬

Then came the 800g porterhouse, an absolute beast. They warned us it would take 45 minutes to cook medium-rare, which I respect. But after an hour+ and a few glasses of wine, it finally arrived. Cut table-side with a knife that looked like it belonged in a crime scene. Very theatrical.
