This National Pumpkin Day, I treated myself to the LIMITED-TIME pumpkin spice waffle at Johnny D’s in Myrtle Beach – and wow, @chefjamiedaskalis took me straight back to my childhood! The taste reminded me of the pumpkin bread my mom and nana make every year, filling me with the warmest, coziest nostalgia.

Each waffle is made with dehydrated pumpkin powder and a special blend of spices, including cinnamon, allspice, and brown sugar, mixed into their signature house-made batter. The texture is moist and almost cake-like, with an optional sprinkle of pecans that adds the perfect nutty crunch.
