Ever since @jiho_kim_pastry introduced me to Octo in late 2023, it’s been my go-to for bringing chefs, out-of-town friends, and anyone who loves bold, flavor-packed Korean-Chinese food.
Chef Leon has crafted a menu full of standouts—dishes that have become instant staples—while still pushing boundaries with new creations inspired by his upbringing in South Korea.
If you haven’t been, this spot needs to be on your list. My must-orders: truffle steak jjangmyeon, Peking duck (regular or black truffle), cucumber radish salad, crispy shrimp sandwich, and glazed orange king prawns. Every dish is a hit!
