I visited around 11:30 AM on a weekday, and the second parking lot was already full, so I managed to park in the temporary lot. There were a few people waiting for a table inside, but the staff provided excellent service, greeting us with smiles and attentiveness. I was seated in about 15 minutes, which was quicker than I expected.I wanted to try the Unaju (grilled eel over rice) along with something cold, so I ordered the chilled Mizuna salad. The chilled Mizuna salad comes with Mizuna, sea urchin, salmon roe, and a soft-boiled egg, all served with a refreshing Japanese-style jelly. It had a slight tanginess and was light and delicious. After a short wait, the Unaju arrived. I learned that the eel at Tomoei is 1.7 times the size of regular eel, and it was packed tightly in the box. The sauce was relatively less sweet, which I preferred. The eel was thick, with a nicely grilled exterior and tender, fluffy flesh that met my expectations. Tomoei's Unaju is truly delicious. The staff's service was top-notch, making this a wonderful restaurant. It was a great meal!
