Dinner at Yong Fu (Hongkou)

On December 27th, 2023 I went with my family (4 of us) to the restaurant Yong Fu (Hongkou) in Shanghai, China Mainland.
The experience was terrible: the plates arrived in random order ( soup after main..) and not synchronized so we couldn’t eat together. The yellow crab was tiny with no meat and no tools to work it. The very expensive white crab was fried with pieces of shell, impossible to chew. My son received both his orders at the same time and we had to send one back. Nobody could speak one... More

The experience was terrible: the plates arrived in random order ( soup after main..) and not synchronized so we couldn’t eat together. The yellow crab was tiny with no meat and no tools to work it. The very expensive white crab was fried with pieces of shell, impossible to chew. My son received both his orders at the same time and we had to send one back. Nobody could speak one word of English, they pretented to understand but never did what they were asked. They rushed the service in 1 hour to close the restaurant at 9.30 pm.
The experience was dreadful: I went there only because of the Michelin star but. It’s a shame for the guide.
I would have asked my (lot of) money back but nobody understood one word. Please do something about this restaurant. Less
