Golden chicken ramen with deeeep salty satisfaction, one of my favorites in Shinjuku 🍜
One of the things that stresses me out about downtown Tokyo is the hordes of people pulsing around the train stations. While Shinjuku has its bumping spots, just a few blocks away is one of the most famous salty chicken ramens in the city. It’s on a quiet street, but still draws a line of tourists and locals alike.
Menya Sho has been open for over a decade & specializes in decadent chicken ramen using a blend of FOUR different salts. The noodles are thin and moderately firm, and I recommend getting all of the toppings - just look at that meat selection!
They’ve got a pretty easy ordering system and have 18 counter seats. Add it to the list of high calibre ramen in a high trafficked area ✅
