If there's one thing that will always exist, it's Hyderabadis in Dallas arguing over who has the best/most authentic food in town. Luckily for me, I'm not Hyderabadi which means I was excited to try more food from a restaurant I already liked.

The biggest new addition to their menu has to be their Mandi, a dish I've had more from the western side of Asia but was open to trying under new management. What I noticed is you get a lot more flavors in this dish. Read that again if you didn't get it, but let's talk about it.

For the mutton (my favorite) they give you broth and a tomato sauce which you can have separate, together, or not at all - although I recommend the broth alone. It makes for a meal you can keep eating without getting tired of each new bite.

As for the chicken, I was surprised to see them serve it with a garlicky mayo which not only adds moistness to the bite, but also gives a place for the Mandi sauce to emulsify; I do recommend mixing sauces here by the way.

Add that to their usual satisfying menu including my reigning favorite Hyderabadi Haleem, and you're already winning before you start talking about their new wraps. I tried the Chicken 65 version which was good on flavor but felt like it needed something more to be filling.

Especially nice to see is their dessert menu, which strays from the typical reheated galub jamun and kheer and instead offers things like a fruity trifle and apricot parfait which even as a not particularly sweet tooth I can enjoy.

All in all, I would say this menu renovation was a success and if you weren't as big of a fan of them previously, it might be time to come around and join all their new customers. Enjoy!
