Lunch at @brothermarcus_ Borough Market

Brother Marcus was created by three best friends, Arthur, Alex, and Tas. They bring the flavours and recipes of the Eastern Mediterranean to London. Having travelled the region extensively and experienced the food, drink, and culture it has to offer first hand, what you get at Brother Marcus is our take on the Eastern Mediterranean way.
The restaurant itself is stunning, and I love the decor. It's so busy, the atmosphere is great, and the service is excellent. We were invited to try their Marcus choice menu, great value at £42pp. The chef picks what you have. This is what we had.....

☆ Pan-fried halloumi, watermelon & mint reduction,
toasted seeds

☆ Charred tenderstem broccoli, romesco, toasted
almonds & Urfa chilli

☆ Greek feta sausage, louvi beans, grated plum
tomatoes & herb salad

☆ Roasted chicken, sun-dried tomato harissa, fresh
herb salad, labneh & nigella seeds

☆ Chocolate cremeux, sesame touille, chocolate
crumb, candied preserved lemons

All the food was excellent, really tasty and fresh flavours. My favourite dishes were the panfried halloumi and the greek feta sausage. But everything was packed with flavour. I'd definitely recommend you check it out!! There's a restaurant in Borough Market, Angel, Spitalfields, South Kensington, and Covent Garden. And i here there is one more on its way, so very exciting times.
