I absolutely love Tsugumi An. It’s one of my most cherished restaurants. Today, I had the pleasure of dining with a chef who has a deep passion for eel. I always want to visit special places like this with someone who appreciates them. The head chef and his wife both looked great today! I can’t help but worry about their well-being. Haha.Today’s eel was sourced from the Oku Mikawa region. I heard it was prepared just this morning. It was steamed, grilled, and cooked over gas. ▶︎ Today’s Dishes - Assorted Appetizers - Grilled Liver and Tenderloin - Grilled Eel (locally grilled) - White Grilled Eel (locally grilled) - Pickles - Salad - Unaju (steamed eel over rice) - Clear Soup It all ended so quickly! Haha.Wow, once again, everything was truly amazing. All the dishes today were incredibly delicious. The head chef’s cooking is always top-notch, no matter how many times I eat it. If I could, I would love to have it every day! Haha.Today’s eel had great texture and rich flavor, and it paired perfectly with the dishes at Tsugumi An. The sauce was smoother than before, with a nice sweetness. It also had a wonderful aroma, making it so tasty. I really love the head chef’s sauce. It complemented both the grilled eel and the unaju perfectly.Everything was delicious, but I especially love the unaju. It draws you in with its presentation, and it feels like it embodies the essence of Tsugumi An. Once again, it was truly delicious today.And then there were the pickles. You can really feel the care that went into them, which is heartwarming. I absolutely love the head chef’s homemade pickles.Thank you for the heartfelt dishes today.
