This new East Village hand roll spot is doing a few things differently. Everything is gluten-free, it’s walk-in only, and there’s no tipping.
The fish was fresh, the rice was seasoned nicely, and you can tell they’re putting a lot of care into the details. Some of the fish is dry-aged, while others are marinated in-house, adding another layer of flavor to each hand roll.
I genuinely enjoyed my meal here and was honestly surprised it wasn’t busier. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d definitely recommend giving them a try.
