Gnocco fritto traces back to Emilia-Romagna—born from humble kitchens where dough, lard, and time turned into something unforgettable. Traditionally served warm, puffed, and airy… meant to be torn open and layered with cured meats, it was never about luxury—just precision, patience, and soul.
And somehow, here in San Francisco, that tradition feels untouched. Like a memory you didn’t know you had.
