I’ve been to a lot of great restaurants recently, but @icavallinibk truly stands out.

The restaurant comes from the team behind The Four Horsemen, the Michelin-starred Williamsburg spot that has built one of the most respected reputations in the city. Situated directly across the street on Grand Street, it carries that same spirit into a different direction. Executive chef Nick Curtola has built a menu rooted in his years of cooking and traveling through Italy. The result is seasonal, ingredient-driven cooking that feels Italian at its core without being bound by any one region, with sourcing that spans both local markets and Italy itself.

The entire evening felt effortless in the best way. The pacing was spot on, the staff attentive without ever being too much, and every detail felt thoughtful. That kind of experience is rare, and they pull it off with ease.

If you haven’t been yet, this is a restaurant that belongs on your list. It’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in months, and I’ll absolutely be returning.
