Sumibi Yakiniku Horumon Sawaishi is all about Horumon, as the sign suggests. The standout item was definitely the liver. It was incredibly soft and wobbly, unlike any liver I’ve ever had before. There was no unpleasant smell at all, and it melted in my mouth the moment I took a bite. With a variety of condiments like wasabi soy sauce, ginger soy sauce, and salt sauce, I was delighted to enjoy different flavors with each dish. The crunchy texture of the fresh Horumon paired perfectly with kimchi and grated Japanese radish with ponzu sauce. For the finale, I could choose between curry rice and cold noodles, and I loved that I could serve myself as much as I wanted. It was just right for my tired stomach, allowing me to finish comfortably. With the fragrant aroma of charcoal and the freshness of the Horumon shining through, this is a place I definitely want to visit again.
