The popular tonkatsu restaurant "Yoda" located on Nihon Odori.It's well-known for being difficult to get a reservation, but I was lucky enough to secure one for my first visit.This time, I ordered the rib roast!The meat of the day was TOKYO X.When it arrived, the first thing that struck me was the beautiful white coating.Taking a bite, I was amazed at how tender and juicy the meat was, with a rich sweetness and umami from the fat.The cooking was perfect, bringing out the quality of the ingredients beautifully.What surprised me even more was the rice.Each grain was shiny and cooked to perfection, with just the right firmness, making it delicious on its own.It paired exceptionally well with the tonkatsu, and I couldn't put my chopsticks down until the end.The overall quality of the dishes was incredibly high, and you could feel the attention to detail in each plate.I can understand why it's so hard to get a reservation at such a talented establishment.I enjoyed the rib roast this time, but I would love to try the tenderloin next time.
