Recently, I've been fortunate enough to accelerate my "Tabelog Award-winning restaurant tour." It's the only hobby that I'm truly passionate about.Every time I visit an award-winning restaurant, I am continually impressed by the quality.Today’s lunch was at Kizaki in Akasaka Mitsuke, a Tabelog Award Bronze winner.◯ Tuna Hand Roll *No photo ◯ Mahi Mahi ◯ Isaki ◯ Kiss (Gindara) with Kombu ◯ Sumi Ika with Cartilage ◯ Spring Sea Bream ◯ Akagai with its Intestine ◯ Horse Mackerel ◯ Chutoro ◯ Katsuo ◯ Sagochi ◯ Kuruma Ebi ◯ Anago ◯ Miso Soup I started with the tuna hand roll. The combination of nori and tuna was delicious, raising my expectations sky-high. The vinegar in the rice was prominent and sharp. I usually have sushi with milder vinegar, so this was refreshingly different. The Sumi Ika, Akagai, Aji, and Sagochi were all incredibly impressive. I first noticed the sweetness and umami of the toppings, followed by the acidity of the rice. It was wonderful—perfect for the upcoming warm weather. Also, the miso soup was amazing. The flavor of the fish was concentrated beautifully.Today, I was seated right in front of the head chef, and I was captivated by the elegance of his movements throughout the meal.It was a great meal. Thank you!
