Basically a 2.5 hour door to door ride from Tokyo, this kappo restaurant focuses mostly on local ingredients in and around Nagano Prefecture. There is a touch of non-Japanese flavour for many of the dishes, either through the sauces or preparation but cooking was on point and the wine list extensive. A nice day trip out there with friends, especially if you take over the 6 seats at the counter.
