Next stop: Bruges (aka the Venice of the North), a small town 1 hour outside of Brussels that has been deemed a World UNESCO Heritage Site. We had an enjoyable lunch at 3* De Karmeliet by Chef Geert Van Hecke. Glad to have caught this place before they close down this year just as the Chef turns 60 years old.
