It's literally set downstairs in the entrance of an apartment building with every single table and seat full of locals chowing down. Here at An Hien, yellow turmeric-yellow rice is topped with shredded chicken, tangy thin onion slices, Vietnamese mint, and black pepper. It’s served with a bowl of intensely flavored chicken broth with chrysanthemum leaves.
