An amazing lunch at Le Bistrot Paul Bert. A bistro of dreams with classic Parisian interiors and a menu to keep you coming back for more. They serve everything from their famous steak au poivre to their insane croque-monsieur loaded with seasonal truffles and the Dover sole meuniรจre. The filet mignon au poivre was excellent - perfectly cooked. So tender, well rested and flavoursome. The sauce was thick and glossy but loose enough to enjoy and dip the crispy frites maison in to. Plenty of black pepper to bring the heat. Dover sole was good but not the best Iโ€™ve had - needed more lemon, butter and sea salt. The ouefs au plat ร  la truffe noir was delicious. Sunny side up eggs, with a truffled cream sauce underneath. Gooey rich egg yolks and an amazing bite all together. This place has real charm and top quality food to match for a classic French bistro. They only use the very best ingredients and so you can expect the freshest rotating plates alongside the classics #notoriousfoodie ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ
