Finally!!! Chef Kai’s incredible off menu dishes become official, for one month only. Slick and silky red oil wontons. Robust and insanely elegant beef noodle consommé. An array of delectable side dishes such as chayote shoots and sauce gribiche made with pickled chili, king trumpet mushroom tempura and chipotle aioli, chicken ballotine stuffed with century egg, ratatouille lasagna, mini potatoes served with chorizo and romesco. Avocado royale with scallop, salmon roe and puffed buckwheat. And 雞捲 ke kng, a chicken neck lookalike meat roll, one of my favorite quintessential Taiwanese comfort food! Swinging into dessert there is sour plum granita with grapefruit, tart- sweet and slightly bitter, the perfect summer delight. Angela also turns papaya milk, a Taiwanese staple drink, into a sophisticated parfait with toasted meringue. Pistachio financier and Paris Brest to go with my cuppa while I continue to adore the most beautiful divider! Bravo @tairroir 👏👏👏
