After closing their popular restaurant "Toritanaka" for about six months, they reopened as "Shutei Tanaka." They currently hold a Bronze award from Tabelog. This time, I opted for the omakase course for JPY 9,800 during the first round. Additional a la carte orders are, of course, possible. Drinks start at JPY 700 for beer, JPY 700 for half a serving of Japanese sake, JPY 800 for shochu by the glass, JPY 1,000 for wine by the glass, and JPY 5,000 for a bottle. A charming restaurant illuminated by lights in a back alley. The interior features an L-shaped counter and a compact tatami room in the back. The atmosphere is homey and soothing.
