On the second day of my Kagawa udon trip, I visited this popular restaurant, and as expected, there was quite a line. The owner, wearing a Mario hat, guided us through the process. We were asked whether we wanted our udon cold or hot, and as we moved along the line, we received our udon and added our own toppings before paying. I chose the cold udon with a warm egg topping this time. It was the most perfectly textured udon I've ever had, with a great firmness! It felt denser than udon from other prefectures, which made me think it might be different.
