I enjoyed the limited tonkatsu course. After an assortment of appetizers, I was served the loin cutlet, mille-feuille cutlet, and pork belly cutlet. I took a bite of the loin cutlet without any sauce and was amazed by its juiciness. It was incredibly tender and moist, offering a new sensation of tonkatsu. The mille-feuille cutlet was even juicier, with a refreshing burst of moisture reminiscent of biting into fruit.I usually add sauce, but it felt too good to cover up, so I enjoyed it 80% plain and 20% with salt. Eating it plain allowed me to taste the sweetness of the pork, and the salt enhanced that sweetness, making it delicious.Next, I had a seafood dish, followed by the Shaburi-an cutlet, which was also very tender, light, and easy to eat. The TOKYO X loin cutlet had a sweet fat, and even though I was full by the end, it was incredibly tasty. Recently, I’ve felt that loin cutlets are a bit heavy, so I’ve been ordering tenderloin cutlets, but this time, I found that I preferred the two loin cutlets the most. The price is on the higher side, but I was satisfied to have tasted several varieties of this new-style tonkatsu. Next time, I’ll try the loin cutlet set meal.
