Located just a minute's walk from the west exit of Sangu Bashi Station on the Odakyu Odawara Line, this hidden gem is situated on the first floor of a residential building, offering a reservation-only experience. The owner, Mr. Sei Ogiwara, has a unique background, having trained not only in traditional Japanese cuisine but also in renowned yakiniku and Chinese restaurants, all while coming from a family that owns the long-established unagi restaurant "Asaya" in Tochigi. His innovative unagi dishes quickly gained popularity through word of mouth, making this restaurant a sought-after destination for food enthusiasts.**Overall Impression** I was fortunate to secure a reservation and finally visit this place I had longed to try. The premium space features only eight counter seats. Here, you can experience a "Unagi Full Course" that showcases unagi in every dish, from appetizers to the finale.I was continually amazed by the innovative approach that pleasantly defied my previous notions of unagi, including unagi sashimi. The highlights of the course, the white grilled unagi and unagi rice box, were superbly crafted, skillfully utilizing both the Kanto-style steaming and Kansai-style grilling techniques. The perfect combination of the crispy exterior and the incredibly tender, juicy flesh inside left me speechless with its deliciousness. The chef's sincere and friendly personality made for a relaxed atmosphere, allowing me to enjoy the best time throughout my visit. This restaurant truly teaches the infinite possibilities of unagi, making it a one-of-a-kind establishment.Thank you for reading to the end, from the reviewer "Instagram@_1show." I appreciate all your likes, follows, and saves for this restaurant.
