I believe Tempura Asanuma is one of the most satisfying tempura restaurants in Nihonbashi. The batter is incredibly light and crispy, yet it allows the flavors of the ingredients to shine through, which was truly impressive. The shrimp and seasonal vegetables were cooked to perfection, ranking among the best tempura I’ve ever had. The calm atmosphere of the counter seating, where you can watch the chef's meticulous work up close, adds to its charm. Now I understand why this renowned establishment is said to be difficult to reserve.
