During my trip to Nagano, I visited Ishiusuhiki Soba Kobo Yama no Mi for my second soba experience. I made a reservation and was pleasantly surprised by how cute the restaurant was, not what you’d expect from a soba shop. I had a course meal, and I was amazed at the variety of dishes that can be made with soba! I’m not sure how to describe the sobagaki (soba dumplings)... I was truly impressed. The carefully crafted 100% buckwheat soba was smooth and beautifully presented. The pizza was light and sweet, almost like a dessert, and I finished it in no time. Everything was delicious. It was a great meal!
