4.4This restaurant is known to be hard to book, but I was lucky enough to find an available table this time. The dishes consistently showcased Spanish flavors while naturally incorporating Japanese ingredients. I was particularly impressed by the Spanish mackerel bocadillo, snap peas paired with ajo blanco, and the sweetfish escabeche. None of these dishes were flashy, yet their flavors lingered in my memory long after finishing. The fish and beef grilled over charcoal were cooked to perfection, bringing out the natural flavors of the ingredients. The paprika served with the beef was exceptional, prompting me to request an extra serving. The crab rice was also highly refined, but what stood out even more were the vegetable and seafood dishes. Instead of relying on expensive ingredients, the course structure satisfied with its seasoning, cooking techniques, and overall flow. There were no significant dips in quality throughout the meal, and my satisfaction level after dining was extremely high. I look forward to returning in a different season.
